I am a California-based illustrator and art director living on the sunny side of the Bay with my extra-tall husband, extra-large baby boy, the best dog, Banjo, and two cats with exact opposite personalities, Bugz and Blue.
I was extraordinarily fortunate to be encouraged from a very young age to pursue the joy of art. With both parents focusing on creative careers and I didn't fall far from the tree. There was a brief moment when I attempted to rebel from my artistic family in college (as one does) and seek a "practical career" but I quickly realized that the most practical thing for me to do is embrace the creative life.
Thus began my adventure into illustrated storytelling.
